Hello people that I do not know personally! It is nice to meet you. I'm Max, the New Game+ Community Manager and it is my honor to write the first post on this blog.
This blog, called Extra Exp. is an extra (naturally) little piece of goodness that is a supplement to the New Game+ website.
I know what you are thinking. Who are you and what is your purpose? Well I could answer the first question fairly easily, but that's not the issue at hand. My purpose, however, is up to the readers. The main purpose of the blog is to highlight our future podcast (very near future) and keeping in touch with the readers. I will let you know any inside info on the inner-workings of the website and the podcast.
"Podcast you say, eh?" Well yes, I'm going to host this podcast along with New Game+'s News Editor Drew Robbins. Drew is actually a good personal friend of mine and I'm sure together we can come up with a pretty interesting show. For the show's format, we will go over news, games, and have a contest. But since this will be our first show, we need a contest winner! This week's question is a fact based question but normally the podcast's trivia will be more opinion based. So here goes...
There are two video game references on my blog. Name the game in which both of them come from and the specific text of the references.Email the correct answer to firstname.lastname@example.org and you might be a winner!
"Wait, why does he spell his email address with 'Macks'? If you are dying to know the answer to that question (which, cmon, you have to be) then you might just want to tune in for our first podcast!
So, in a week or so, you will be able to listen to the first episode of.....oh, crap. We forgot to name it!
That's where YOU come in! Please feel free to comment with a funny, clever, and CLEAN podcast title.
Wheww, that was a long blog, longer than any that will probably be on here but you gotta start somewhere!
I'll keep you updated on the blog when the podcast will be up, but until then,
